EMERGENCY INFO

Camp Wildman is a beautiful wooded one hundred acre wilderness property situated on the south side of the 8th Concession Road of Tiny Township in Simcoe County, approximately three hundred meters east of Georgian Bay at Ossossane Beach.

The Camp is owned and operated by Scouts Canada.

Camp Wildman is intended primarily for Scouts Canada groups but may also be rented, by other groups or organizations that meet the specific criteria.

NOTICES

Water

Please note that the water at the camp does not meet the requirements of Bill 170 and therefore you must bring your own water for drinking & cooking purposes.

There is NO water provided at all at Camp Wildman. We are working on it and hopefully by the end of 2008 or early 2009 we will have water! Keep a look out here for news on this.

Larvicide Spray

At this point Camp Wildman has NOT sprayed larvicide to kills mosquitoes. Given the number of children that use the camp there is some reluctance to do so. We encourage that campers use personal protection against bugs.

Use of Chain Saws

We request that campers do not use chain saws during their visit unless they have been specifically requested by the Camp management to do so. All chain saw users must have a certificate to use a chain saw. We are looking for people who have this certificate that would be willing to help out at the camp from time to time. please contact us if you would like to help with this specific task or to help with any camp maintenance activity.
